First of all, nice site. I found it through the link in your signature on Ghibli Tavern. I enjoy reading others thoughts on things.

I'm also a fan of the Harry Potter series, but the more I think back on it, the more I believe that the last three books in the series were not up to par with the first four. The mystery element that had been so prominent in the first four almost vanished entirely from the fifth book onward, replaced by initially exciting, but ultimatley empty action scenes. New concepts grew fewer and fewer as the series wore on; by the last book, she introduced a single new concept in almost eight-hundred pages.

I'm still a fan, but I stand by my opinion that the series declined as it went on. Oddly enough, though, I think the best climax of all the books was in the sixth; the scene at the lake was just perfect--eerie, intense, beautiful, and chilling.

If you want to be spoiled, sure. I'll list the names backwards so some unsuspecting person be spoiled by accident. Major deaths are: (*spoilers don't read*) derF , sknoT , nipuL , ydooM , ybboD , liatmroW , giwdeH.(/*spoilers don't read*)
