In Kiki it was the road to independence and in Spirited Away it was about pushing yourself to your full potentional. Ponyo unfortunatly had none of those quallitys, and for that alone, I am labling it as Miyazaki weakest film. I heard his next film will be about nuclear energy, I hope this will give him the chance to return to top form, before he retires.
