I am such a fan too!! I'm trying to collect the manga in Chinese version, but that's such an impossible task really. Can't help but nod with agreement as I read your review, you analyzed the whole anime with such depth, man, and also without giving away too much of the plot. Probably your other reviews on Touch are good too, and the spoilers won't harm me, I've watched the anime loads of time, hah. Ooh and I know which songs you're talking about, it feels great to know someone enjoys 'The Afternoon You Pushed Me Away' (Final ED song). I love that song too, it's feels so...peaceful, like the sunset of the day which, by the way, is how the final ED is really like visually, I think. Have you listened to '18 Summer Holidays' and 'Baseball' too? They're from the anime too and I LOVE THEM. Mitsuru Adachi wrote Touch. You might be thinking of Cross Game. That was written by Adachi, has similarities with Touch, and is airing right now.
